Ugh! I hate ticks and the diseases they carry. We live in Maryland outside of DC and this past summer there were many cases of Lyme disease in our area. I also had a Lone Star tick crawling all over me! Our two Chihuahuas have the Borreliosis vaccination, which is mandatory here! Ticks are just terrible! From year to year there are more. I bought a couple of these tools to keep handy and this is the second tick I've had to remove this spring! This little tick wouldn't let go of my pup, but this tool got him walking and kept his evil mouth intact! This is the most important part. Always keep the tick in a container to take to the vet in case your pet has a reaction!
