Life in a small tent can be crowded. And when hiking, space plays a big role, but so does weight. I wanted things to be more organized on the site. It's very easy to hang with reusable zip ties at each end and comes with multiple carabiners. The carabiners are plastic and light, but probably not as strong. However, it's easy enough to upgrade. It was worth the minimum size and space we had in our backpacks to add it. We hung our toiletries/bath sets, dried clothes over it, hung our cutlery when not in use, hung up our rubbish etc. It kept everything in order, didn't sit in the dirt and was definitely a good buy.
