These are the best things after sliced bread. They are NOT cheap and the compression is amazing. I had two episodes of pulmonary embolism. The first time, the radiologist said there were too many emboli to count. The second time I was taken to Shock Trauma with Saddle PE and everyone said I miraculously survived. Saddle PE is a clot that encircles the bifurcation of the pulmonary trunk and extends to the left and right pulmonary arteries. Last Tuesday I had a total knee replacement. We are flying from Maryland to Washington State for my niece's wedding on October 12th. If I feel fit enough to fly, I'm allowed to wear these pneumatic compression stockings. They charge via USB so I only need a backup battery. They stay charged for about 4 1/2 hours and with the backup charger they run for about 12 hours. No cables to trip over and no worrying about finding a plug to charge. These stockings changed my life. It annoys me when they write bad reviews and everything is a lie. Very well done.
