Review on 🔔 Broan-NuTone LA11WH Door Chime in White with Textured Finish by Robert Mac

Replaced an old wooden doorbell with this modern style from Broan-NuTone. Although the chime cover is plastic it is durable and I expect it to last for many years given the device is wall mounted. My old bell cap was made of wood, which was common at the time. In our current market I would probably pay more for a wooden or metal chime. Mechanically, replacing a doorbell is easy, as all you have to deal with is various screws and a few low-voltage wires. Not much has changed on the internal components of the bell as it looks almost identical to the old bell. The bell cover is slightly raised from the wall, but that's to be expected since many mechanical bells are set up that way. The bell lid must leave room for internal components, so the lid is designed to allow leeway. The chime is the correct two-note ding-dong. Chime Looks good on the wall and sounds good so it suits my needs.
