I've looked at all the laces and they all had bad reviews for the way they attach to the board. When I saw this one, I was thrilled. well built, sturdy, large loop at top instead of clip etc. However, when I got it the wire part was only 12 inches high. In my opinion too short. My old one, which I accidentally threw away, was at least a lot bigger. I would say at least 18 inches tall and I could iron to the end of my board. Okay I said and attached it to the end of the board just like my old one. It limits the distance I can stroke. I have a large amount of cord between the iron and the mount which is not fit for purpose. I give it 4 stars because it's a well built starter holder. For now I will find a way to make it longer/higher. I thought I could add a block at the bottom to make it taller.
