Review on Polarduck Mini Tripod: Versatile Stand for iPhone, Android, Webcam & Projector, with Universal Phone & GoPro Mounts by Prentice Fossett

I really wanted this tripod to take selfies with my phone and I read the reviews and they were great and you couldn't beat the price. The mini tripod arrived yesterday and today when I tried to set it up the instructions weren't the best. It took me a while to figure out that I had to pull out the universal phone clip. Then it only seems to fit horizontally, not my preferred vertical. The instructions say to press the button on the side to rotate 360 degrees, but when I do that, nothing happens. The button seems to be set permanently, so I can't rotate the sphere, which appears tilted. The site says 24 hour service but you will need to email Revane as there is no phone number. Now my camera fits well on a tripod and is solid but I'm not happy about not being able to use my phone to take selfies and that was the main reason I ordered this product. originally wrote this review and emailed the seller through Revain, they contacted me immediately and sent me a new tripod and refunded my purchase price. The new tripod was 100% better than the first. I could easily press the button on the side to spin the ball. I'm upgrading this rating to 4 stars for the price and the seller's service, but I would still like to take vertical selfies with this tripod. I've been watching youtube videos to see if I'm missing something obvious and I'm not. I'll probably have to buy an extra nozzle, which I won't do. I just keep taking my selfies the old fashioned way.
