The unit itself works great and is as described. I have 4 dental implants so I bought this device specifically because it included a periodontal tip. When I first used a periodontal tip, it broke. The silicone portion of the tip broke off in my mouth almost as soon as I turned on the device. I'm grateful that I noticed this immediately and didn't swallow it. Also, it looks like replacement tips will not be available for purchase. Thus, once the tip breaks or it's time to replace the tips, the device becomes unusable. It's a shame because everything else about the device meets or exceeds expectations. I think you get what you pay for. July 2, 2021 UPDATE: Contacted the seller about a broken tip. They reply within a few hours. Unfortunately periodontal replacement tips are not available. However, the seller corrected and gave the possibility of a refund. Instead we settled on the seller supplying a standard replacement head as that is the only type of replacement head they currently offer. Today I received not 1 but 2 standard replacement tips. I increased my star rating from 3 to 4. Aside from the periodontal tip issue, the device has lived up to all expectations and the seller was very easy going and more than willing to resolve the issue.
