I have ordered 4 of these kits and installed them with a 50% success rate. All areas lit up the first time but some of the buttons didn't work so I had to open up the controller again and try to reinstall the kit with a better one. After that I was only able to light up half of the area, although I installed it exactly as instructed. I think I must have broken something reinstalling the kit a second time. The second and third time I installed this kit in controllers both worked great and I was happy with the product. The 4th time I used this kit I tried using it with another product from this company and made a controller with 4 back buttons that also light up. It went really bad. Although both sets installed perfectly and the controller would light up for a minute or two, the controller then went off and completely shorted out. In its current form, the controller is completely dead.
