Subtle chocolate taste, no unpleasant aftertaste

This is just a HUGE bottle of protein! So much for a great tasting protein powder. I'm new to blending and I really enjoy experimenting with different flavors and ingredients. I always add some type of protein powder to the mix, usually whey protein, since pea proteins tend to have a grainy texture. I appreciate the great tasting whey protein powder that doesn't have an overly artificial taste and no medicinal or bitter aftertaste. The texture of the powder is light and airy. It mixes well with our protein shakes and blends easily with our Nutribullet Blender. No undissolved powder remains or sticks to the bottom or sides of the blender bottle. I've tried mixing it in a regular blender bottle and don't feel like it mixes nearly as well. Using a blender when possible is definitely the way to go. I've tried it with water and chilled almond milk; both were very good! Chocolate fudge tastes sweet but subtle. It's so rich and tasty but not sweet. My husband is not a fan of super sweet protein powders and he really liked it. We both like it very much. 24 grams of protein per scoop is perfect to keep you feeling full and satisfied until your next meal. I'm trying to limit my calorie intake and these smoothies are really helping me stay on track. The addition of BCAA is also welcome as we usually take it on its own. This product contains stevia and sucralose like many other protein supplements. My stomach is jittery at times, so I can only enjoy these ingredients in EXTREMELY moderate amounts. I haven't had any problems with it so far. (Knock on wood!) Overall, this is comparable to more expensive, store-bought vitamin brands. Same quality, lower price, delicious taste!

Pros
  • L-GLUTAMINE + L-LEUCINE - contains 5 grams of pure L-Glutamine to support muscle regeneration after intensive training. Whey Reloaded also contains 2.5 grams of pure L-Leucine to support protein synthesis and maintain muscle mass.
Cons
  • Very expensive
