Works as described. They don't fall apart like some I bought locally. They're soft enough to sleep on, and I've had success; However, I washed my hair in the evening and semi-dried it and curled it, leaving the curlers on for a few hours. This also worked. But I can't say that the perfect curls were kept in a dream! My hair goes to the collar. I bought 1 inch tall around the back. I'll probably need the big ones at night.
