Review on 17 Inch Riveter Including Interchangeable Mandrel(M3 by Michael Patilla

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good tool with the dies you need but no case

I looked at the ones with the suitcase, but they were all about 15.00 more expensive than this one. I knew the blow case wasn't as good as the modular tool/parts case you could buy at a big store between 3pm and 8pm. I bought one from Husky at Home Depot and now have a nicer storage case for my various rivets and am happier than I would have been with a blow molded case. I take a suitcase with a tool in it, and in the storage boxes that come with them are rivet nuts of various sizes. I removed some of the bins to make room for the tool and room for an assortment pack of rivets as well as the more commonly used or larger ones I bought in one size to keep them handy. So now I have all the sizes I could need in one place, I just grab them and go. Rivets are like duct tape - you don't know how many times you're going to use them until you do!

Pros
  • ✔The tool-less design of the quick-change head makes it easy to quickly change mandrels and tips without additional tools, making your project easier and saving you time
Cons
  • Not bad, but. ..
