Great bike seat/rack requires patience

This is a great seat, my son rides in it and enjoys the ride. He is 18 months old and weighs about 27 pounds and the only problem is when I rotate backwards while pedaling my foot hits his foot. I've adjusted this by putting my feet on the pedals closer to the center of the foot, this takes a while to get used to, but it's a small compromise and also a big improvement since it's from the In Step Moved to the back seat was the puller he's been using since last year. I read all the reviews before buying this seat and most say the instructions are lousy and the bike seat takes a very long time to assemble. You are talking about the bike rack that comes with this seat. I was able to install the bike rack in about an hour, taking my time and making sure I was using all the correct nuts and bolts. This extra precaution was only taken due to a safety issue as I would not have done this if it was just to carry my gym bag. However, if you enjoy working on your bike and have decent bike tools, you'll find the setup is relatively modest. INSTALL IT. A BIKE SHOP MAKES IT IN 20 MINUTES AND DOES IT RIGHT. Great seat, very stable, going to Yosemite in a few weeks for a complete overhaul then I'll be back.
