I bought this stool as a gift and decided to pre-assemble it for the recipient. At this price it clearly looked like the best value for money. It is packaged very well to avoid misalignment within the package. Assembly is easy, includes 12 total screws and includes (cheap) assembly tools (I recommend using your own 5mm allen key, 10mm spanner, Phillips #2 screwdriver). The assembled stool makes a very stable impression. Nylock nuts are a nice touch for keeping things tight. The stool rotates, rises and falls very smoothly. A very nice upgrade from the standard metal bar stool! My problem is that my chair only had 3 of the 4 adjustable legs so the chair now sits unevenly. These legs screw in and come pre-installed. I checked the packaging again and it's nowhere to be found. Hopefully the company can send me a new one to complete my order. Then I'll be happy to change my order to a glowing 5 star.
