I was delighted to receive the Tiny Dragonfly studs in the mail but unfortunately my excitement quickly evaporated once I opened the package. Although the earrings are made of 925 sterling silver and opal, they were smaller than I expected and didn't shimmer as much as I had hoped. I also found that the needle was difficult to get through my ear, and even after I put it in, it felt a bit uncomfortable in my cartilage. On a positive note the earrings are incredibly delicate and would make a good gift for a young girl or teenager. They're also hypoallergenic, making them a great option for people with sensitive ears. While I appreciate the effort that went into making these earrings, overall I can't say I would recommend them to anyone looking for a statement piece that really stands out.
