Good enough for the money

The pump is really good for the money. Soft comfortable silicone. Provides enough suction to keep milk flowing during feeding. I find this is best used when breastfeeding on one side and then pumping on the other side. So I'm getting about 2 ounces compared to 4 ounces with a Medela electric pump, and that's exactly the same as with a similar Haakaa pump. The biggest problem is that the flange is too small. I have a size A cup and it slipped easily and lost suction at the bottom once there was some milk in it. It has petal shaped dents and I think that makes matters worse. 2. The pump should weigh 3 ounces, but you squeeze it to use it, which is a maximum of 2 ounces before it starts spilling (haakaa claims 4 ounces, but it only fits 2)3. The sizes on the pump are in ml, not ounces - it's okay, but I'd like to see it in ounces. Generally this is $13 for a pack of 2 pumps with plugs. It's good for the money. Compared to the Haakaa brand, this 1 ounce is smaller, has a much softer silicone (which makes it more comfortable), but care needs to be taken to avoid falling off. You can't walk in it and it will burst if a child kicks it and if there is milk in it. It doesn't cause milk flow so I can't imagine how you could use it alone. It's perfect for just pumping out a few extra ounces without having to install an electric pump, and it doesn't hurt to have it at full pressure (haaka makes my skin blue).
