I was skeptical about buying another brand adapter for my Medela in Style pump but so far I have been happy with its performance. I use it on long trips ie every 3 months. And I'm an exclusive pumper, if that matters. Although we all prefer to pump comfortably - seated, behind a closed door, plugged into an outlet. Sometimes we need to download in less than ideal situations - in a moving car, at my relatives' house, with a car adapter. The suction power you get with this adapter is NOT comparable to the amazing, almost painful suction power you get from a wall outlet. It's actually a bit sad BUT it does the job. So instead of emptying your chest in 15-20 minutes, it could take 30 minutes. 30 minutes of awkward silence as you rock in the back seat while your father-in-law listens to the pump motor hum and tries to look away from your flower-patterned hooter hider. So save some money and buy this non-brand adapter - it works the same way. Five stars for economy; Four stars for less suction power.
