I am very disappointed in this purchase! I am 22 years old, 130kg, side sleeper and was looking for a cheap but quality mattress that would suit me. This mattress is classified as medium on the firmness scale. However, I can assure you that it is much closer to 9. I was so happy to receive my mattress. It was delivered promptly. I had no problems unpacking or inflating the mattress. The first night was pretty rough (I woke up 5 times a night) but I figured I'd sleep better once my body got used to the mattress. But now, after almost a month, I literally never slept through the night! My shoulders are numb from the stony "hardness" and as a young man who has never had any body aches or pains, I usually wake up with back and hip pain. I understand that "light" and side sleepers tend to prefer softer beds than other sleepers, so I asked four members of my family who are heavy sleepers and prefer hard beds because they either sleep combined or sleep on their backs what they think. The unanimous conclusion was that the bed is very hard. I was really trying to love this bed but unfortunately I just got sick of it. So I decided to return the mattress; HOWEVER, the return policy is almost as disappointing as the mattress itself. *It should be noted that I am still within the 30 day return period. *Instead of refunding me in full, they said they would not refund the shipping cost (remember I'm a big contributor). So now I'm not getting almost 30% of my original purchase back. I can't justify returning it now, so I guess I'm stuck on that piece of rock. It's so frustrating. I really expected better!
