We've been using Moen for over 12 years and never had any real problems (other than valve cartridge issues due to our hard water here in West Virginia). We might just be used to this product, but we haven't had any issues with any of the Drop-Els we've installed. This is a very important part. Not just a "threaded elbow joint".
