For well water we use the home made jug with water filter that came with a similar device but didn't want to use it to test the pH of my goldfish pond [yuk!] me I decided to. The FYD meter comes in a plastic storage box, is 6 inches long and 1 inch wide and includes 3 bags of PH buffer powder for calibration. The pH range of this meter is from 0.00 to 14.00 and is more accurate than what comes with our filter glass. The English instructions are easy to follow for both calibration and use. A note: you will need some distilled water to calibrate. It uses 2 x 1.5V button cell batteries [LLR4] which are included. The backlit display is large and easy to read. This counter is also equipped with an ATC function [had to google it! It turns out that this makes the meter more accurate: ATC = Automatic Temperature Compensation – The meter measures pH and temperature simultaneously and automatically calculates to correct for differences. Apparently, non-ATC PH meters are noticeably less accurate, so if accuracy is important, this is a good choice. I recommend and thank you for reading this review and I hope it will be helpful.
