*updated 11/11/2020 I have changed my rating to one star. If it was possible to make it zero, I would. I've only used this case a couple of times and now the latch is broken. Add that experience to the poor optics and leaky seal, and there's really no reason to buy this. Not alone. It was a waste of money. I would avoid this accommodation. I live by a lake and spend a lot of time in and out of the water. I've donated more than my fair share of GoPros to the gods of the lake while playing. It's getting tedious to do, so I decided to do my best to keep the rest of my gear in good condition. This includes buying floats or hulls. After reading many reviews, I can't say that I have high hopes for the Samsung Gear 360 underwater camera case. After using it yesterday, I can fully understand the lack of enthusiasm for the product. Here's why: I carefully placed the camera in the hull, mounted it on a tripod, and then lowered the assembly into the water next to the dock. The depth was about three feet, well below the advertised ability to withstand a depth of 30 feet. An hour later I took out the camera and investigated the case. While there wasn't enough water inside to cause damage, there was a significant amount of liquid inside. If he had been underwater much longer, I think shorting the camera would have been enough. I can try adding a semi-liquid application to help seal the gasket a bit. The picture quality exceeded my expectations. Many gave the case poor ratings due to the reduction in optics. Apart from one noticeable seam, I think everything is fine and I am satisfied with the result. I would probably buy the case again knowing its limitations. It is forbidden to dive to a depth of 30 feet or stay underwater for more than 30 minutes. That being said, I would wish for a higher quality case for the 360.
