As others have pointed out, it requires a bit more assembly than other chairs I've bought, but it was also reasonably priced, well packaged and fairly easy to work with put together. . One step that wasn't very clear in the instructions should be obvious when looking at the parts, but in case they come loose, the vertical arm mounts have a plastic guide that slides over the bottom of the mount - it has a cutout in it it. Side of the guide for the protrusion of the rod that secures the vertical support to the chair. This notch should face down and the curve of the handlebars should point away from the seat when assembled. I bought this for my 11 year old daughter to replace an old chair that was falling apart and the elevator stopped working so she would have something handy for remote work at school. She seems very happy with it. {Edit: Updated six months later - again, 11 year old child, not adult, uses chair - seat clearly worn at seams; I'm deducting two stars from my original 5 star rating because the polyurethane seat started to disintegrate within 6 months of light use. Adding a photo showing both the left side (significant wear/breakage) and the right side (tear in the seat material diagonally from the seam) at the front of the seat failed.}
