For those who had frugal parents, I'm sure we all remember "a bag (or box or crate or closet) full of bags" from childhood, and many how I, I'm sure who continued the tradition of storing the bread bags when the loaf was done so we could double the fresh bread and put it in the freezer, and buying ahead when the bread was on sale. My dear mother, rest her soul, often told the "wonderful" story of how we ran out of food and, lo and behold, the bread was selling for ten loaves a dollar - turns out the store was wrong and it ten should be for ten dollars. (Prices used to be so different!) but they corrected the mistake on their sign and mum stocked the large freezer below with much needed bread to feed us kids. Bread that can go bad so I always keep a 2 or 3 bag loaf in my freezer, but in the last few months I've switched to a ketogenic diet (lost almost 30 pounds in less than three months, wow!), and now buys a lot of low-carb or no-carb foods through the mail (because stores don't offer that healthier kind). there are more) and there is definitely a need to keep them frozen. Well my dirty bag was running out so I figured someone at Revain was selling bread/freezer bags these days. And I found them - and as always thanks to all the reviewers who summarized the merits of this product - and gave them a try. Packs of buns or pita so I needed something big but still something strong and something I could reuse which is perfect. The thick plastic limits freezer burn and prolongs the freshness of my frozen bread. They are also great for any other larger freezer. They're also more convenient than using old bread bags as they come already clean and ready to use, folded nicely and stored in their own plain plastic bag, and much stronger than a standard bread bag, and they're all the same size. In short, they're a great storage solution and while I can see I can use them again and again if they ever need a replacement, I'll be back to buy more. I really appreciate that they are being made available and I am very impressed with the quality, strength and durability of these handy bags. They even came with tangled, plastic-coated zip ties, and the bags contained no BHT. Brilliant! Great freezer packs that I highly recommend and a great way to upgrade your "package bag" to a slimmer, easier to use and even more useful version. Five stars, definitely!
