It was all in the package which is good as there is a blade. The color is noticeably darker than stated, but this is not critical. It definitely cuts false nails with ease. The cuts shown on the packaging are a bit more difficult to make yourself. This certainly takes some practice. The kit includes a tiny screwdriver to take it apart and sharpen the blade. Overall a good buy for the price. I would buy again. UPDATE: The paint has started to peel off. I've used it multiple times, but no matter the angle or whatever, I never get a perfectly even cut across the nail. It's always really over. You could find something better.
