I was hesitant to buy because I thought the Nike app would be enough. It wasn't until I bought the watch that I realized I was missing out. I have an Apple Watch and after a year I finally realized that my watch isn't doing anything for my run without having my phone nearby and using the workout app. You don't need a cell phone with this watch, it counts my mileage and then I sync it with the Nike app. You can also receive messages and calls from your mobile phone. I bought a refurbished one and it was in perfect condition. Works great, no complaints. Definitely recommend. I love my Garmin.
