I used this trimmer as a beard trimmer, not a hair trimmer, and here's my comparison to my Wahl Lithium Ion All-in-One Beard Trimmer. Pros: - Very quiet (especially compared to Wahl) - Adjustment on the trimmer itself from 0.8mm to 2mm without using a protective cover, which for me is very important in terms of comfort. - Battery life has been great so far when I've used it for 4 beards. still cuts. - It doesn't cut into my skin or cause pain/pulling. To be honest, what I liked most about this trimmer is being able to dig the trimmer into the skin without fear of it pulling the skin into my teeth on softer skin like the neck area. being a hair trimmer and not a beard trimmer so I can't fault him for that. It's actually smaller than my wall mounted hair clipper. 0.8mm is the lowest trim setting and wasn't short enough for me until I realized I could trim my beard by setting the trim to a higher setting (1.4mm for me) and targeting my beard growth , which ended up giving me exactly the length I wanted. Changing the size of the fairing without the need for crash barriers.
