Review on 👚 Levis Plus Size Women's Shirt Jacket - Clothing for Women, Coats & Vests by Dave Wolf

This is an amazing shirt jacket from Levi's. I have been buying this brand for myself, my husband and my children for many years and have always been satisfied with the fit, quality and finish. When I saw this jacket shirt I thought my granddaughter would really like the style and loose fit. It seems like something different than the more traditional trucker jackets worn by the rest of us and I know it will hold up to every use and abuse a teenager could throw at it. She's 5ft 8" and wears a size 18 so I ordered her a size 2X and the My Vibe version. I didn't see a plus size size chart so I went to the Levi's website and here is part of the list: 1X = sizes 14 and 16 (bust 42.5-44.5 inches) 2X = sizes 18 and 20 (bust 46.5-48.5 inches). ) 3X = Sizes 22 and 24 (bust 50.5-52.5 inches) I would describe the color that seems familiar these days as a dark wash with a very lightly worn look This model is only slightly longer since the model is probably slightly taller than my granddaughter. It reaches just below the bottom of her thigh and completely covers her bottom. The cut is quite roomy and she can easily wear this shirt over a sweater or sweatshirt. The sleeves are the right length for her and the cuffs have button closures. 100% cotton denim is very durable and of excellent quality. The shirt jacket is quite heavy and that is really the weight of the jacket. Some of my trucker ketas are cotton blend and not as heavy, but I have some pure cotton ones that are thicker and more durable and this jacket is very similar to them. As other reviewers have pointed out, it feels a bit stiff at first but softens with wear and wash. It has large chest pockets with buttoned flaps and large side pockets at waist level on each side. The pockets are very roomy but don't look bulky. They are big enough for my granddaughter to put her hands in or hold a phone, wallet + keys or other small items. There are also two very large "hidden" inner pockets - they are flat and can fit a large wallet, large phone or small laptop, fire starter, the jacket is very well made and has strong, durable stitching. Levi's is famous. All buttons (metal with Levi's logo) are securely fastened and the buttonholes are perfectly finished. The current price of $44.99 (compared to the regular price of $79.50) is very reasonable given the brand's quality and longevity. I have Levi's jackets that are 20 years old but they still look great (and easily last another 20 years).
