Buyers beware: the unit doesn't look very solid, once installed it won't detach from the mount as stated by the manufacturer (even the tech support rep had trouble figuring out how to disassemble the unit) and when You want to avoid exposure to radiation, this model is not for you. Before purchasing, ViewSonic tech support assured me that this product "should" emit less EMI than our current monitor because it has an LED backlight and is mercury free. We were both surprised and confused after several EMF readings turned out to be super high; powerful radiation across a whopping 48-inch screen panel compared to the 36-inch screen of our current fluorescent model. We found it safer to continue using our old monitor and sit 3ft from the screen until another mercury-free model was tested before purchasing. We sent the unit back but ended up only being refunded half of the original amount after paying for the shipping cost (both ways) and restocking fee. Lesson learned at a price!
