Strong nose wire for sewing masks

I bought these to use as the nose wire in the masks I sew. They work well but the ends are sharp and the small wires stick out a bit. I use white tape to wrap the ends before inserting them into the mask. In addition, they are well tolerated by washing the mask in the machine.
