Tried many times but despite my best efforts I can't connect this light strip. The guides are basically useless as they make no sense and the app is just as sparse with the information provided. My understanding is that when the band is in pairing mode, a new Wi-Fi network should appear (for the Bluetooth Wi-Fi version, if the device supports Bluetooth) and you then start your phone with the new Wi -Connect to Fi network so the app can connect to your home Wi-Fi network. When I press the pairing button for 5 seconds as instructed, the bar flashes but no new WiFi networks appear. Instead, I sit on the app's "pairing" screen for several minutes until it tells me it can't connect. It then tells me how to put my band into pairing mode without further troubleshooting. So after a lot of effort and time I'm done. I give up. If you're just looking for a red streak with no adjustments (other than shimmer), then you're in luck! Otherwise, for everything else, I suggest you shop around based on your lighting needs.
