Made in India. The inner structure has a leathery feel (smells like leather), but the outer case is shinier and feels more "plastic". Not sure what it's made of. Has a notched pattern of woven carbon fiber and feels slippery than leather, should be easier to pull from pocket. I've just started using it, so I can't comment on durability.
