Like many other reviewers, this product saved another old office chair from the landfill. My partner had some trouble putting it on initially, especially around the arms, but after watching the product video on his second try, he got it right. Our type of chair was such that the back and seat taper at the junction, so the result is a bit chunky and baggy in the middle but still gets the job done. The material is comfortable, but the texture is similar to nylon. It's soft but not smooth, you know? You'd better believe we looked at the water deal they made in the video and in fact it basically worked. Definitely waterproof (as the name suggests) as opposed to waterproof (which our imagination might say). I'd rate the product description as accurate enough ('strong zipper', 'extremely stretchy', 'stain-resistant', etc.) including 'easily wipeable with a tissue', as opposed to flashy but pointless marketing . I expected it to be jargon. Would I save a $100 chair for $14 again? Absolutely yes.
