I gave it over a week before writing a review because new bath mats always take a little time to unroll and flatten out and such.The smell people are complaining about is absolutely no different than any other bathmat you’d get from the store. It’s that like new plastic/rubber smell and it was gone in about a day. It wasn’t that bad, either.The length is great — we have a long tub and it covers probably 85% of the bottom which is nice.The entire thing is suction cups on the bottom and the little bubble parts on the top press in when it’s auctioned properly. For the first few days not all of them auctioned because it had been rolled really tightly so a few here and there around the edges came up but after a week or two, there are no issues with it staying put. Even when the edges were up, the mat itself did not move.It’s not slippery — even when you use conditioner or shave your legs or whatever — I was concerned because it isn’t textured really, but we haven’t had any slip or balance issues with it.It’s easy to clean, just flip it over and give it a spray and wipe down. The suction cups aren’t brittle so it’s easier to clean than some bath mats.I know this is a long review for something so simple but I hate changing it up so, hopefully this will be helpful.
