Simply turn on the light and they're great. Much brighter than I thought the fairy lights would be. Maybe 60 to 70% brightness of small LED replacement bulbs. The wire size isn't that bad. Every other bulb faces up or down to minimize sag when hung. 11 main functions + 2 timer settings and 4 brightness levels. For the price, even if it only lasts a few seasons, I'm very satisfied. From the looks of sealed bulbs I think they will be a lot less of a problem than cords with interchangeable bulbs that can come loose. Being able to produce white or multicolor on the same line was a big advantage for me. I don't know if I would have bought it if I knew there were no reviews. but I didn't see it... but I'm glad I saw it. I'd be happy to give them a chance. Great price for a cable of this length. Thinking about it I'll try to update the review after this Christmas season when we turn off the lights. Or if there are problems in between. Merry Christmas.
