A great placemat for my 1950's kitchen. I needed something small enough to fit in the kitchen corner. I wanted something durable that would also match the style of my kitchen - white and grey, retro, modern. It exceeded my expectations. The chair and the table are strong! For people complaining that the holes in the back seat don't line up with the chair legs - I believe that's user error. If you overtighten the seat cushion on the chair base, the chair poles will move inward or not align with the cushion holes. Suggestion would be: When attaching the seat cushion, simply insert the screws loosely enough to allow the chair to be lifted to attach the back cushion. Once the backrest is secure, turn the seat over and tighten the seat cushion screws. Very easy. Self assembled in less than 20 minutes. No additional tools required, just the alien key that came in the box.
