Using this extender allows my HDMI monitor to work and send power to my MacBook Pro for charging, but vice versa, it doesn't want to send enough power to support the devices connected via USB cables. via an adapter. When I plug the Satechi multiport adapter directly into my MacBook, it works great for all purposes.
