You will need a "strong" screwdriver to easily assemble them, but a standard Phillips head screwdriver will work. They look amazing, just what I wanted in my newly painted sun room. Be prepared for at least one, if not two, nut and bolt combinations not working. You just have to remember the idea of parallel and perpendicular from high school geometry (yes you see you use this stuff in real life). The screw and nut must be positioned so that the screw enters the cage nut. Don't rush and don't be frustrated. I used a bread knife to line things up and then they fitted fine. It took about an hour to assemble a table. Read the diagrams, line up all the parts, and take your time. As someone over 70, if I can do it, so can you!
