Review on Caltric Starter Solenoid Kawasaki FH541V by Jeff Wyble

Foreword, the support team, although only by email, was very quick and quickly fixed the problems described below. That's why I gave 2 stars. I received 2 separate devices. When installed correctly and with the battery fully charged, the first solenoid clicked several times before engaging the starter. After switching on, the starter is not supplied with sufficient current, so that the engine does not start. The clamp on the motor side was loose when I got it. I explained to Caltric what had happened and they sent another one for free pretty quickly. The second arrived and had the opposite problem. This time the magnetic clamp was released. The starter cranked well, but the magnetic piston didn't crank the bendix. I explained to Caltric again and they promptly refunded my money. However, this time they just refunded my money without asking if I wanted it, which I found strange. I have since purchased a Denso brand solenoid and am waiting for it to arrive.
