I am requesting a refund. It seems that the system insists on using its cloud storage service along with a monthly fee. I can't find a way to save my documents to a location of my choice on my computer or in a cloud service that I already use. The software doesn't seem to have a preset like most OS X programs. All I need is a scanner and a database program. I'm not interested in buying "services" or monthly fees.

Avoid this scanner. When I first bought it, the product worked fine. I upgraded to OS 10.11 and there were some scanning issues. The software crashed a bit more often and I had to do some stupid things to get my computer to recognize the scanner (turn on the scanner, load the paper, and then, and only then, open the software). This is one of the worst electronic products I have ever bought. Half the time it doesn't recognize the paper, it's incredibly hard to grab the paper to swipe through, sometimes the software can't recognize the scanner at all, and when an error occurs I have to turn it off, unplug it, and start over to make it work again.
