I received the Neat Receipts scanner/software a few weeks ago. I was very hesitant to purchase this product due to the bad reviews, when I started reading customer reviews I noticed that all the reviews were several years old, the more recent reviews gave positive reviews to this product! Take the chance and order! I couldn't be happier, this is an amazing device! I use the MAC version, it booted fine on my computer, went online and downloaded the latest software. No problem! I scanned various documents, receipts and business cards. ALL can be easily integrated into the software. OCR in software does a pretty good job of "extracting" the information needed to "fill in" various fields for later retrieval! Entering information is logical, you can set up different archives and folders within the office, as well as subfolders based on different folders. If you change your mind and need to move information, rename documents, files, etc., it's easy! When scanning documents, receipts, etc., you can choose whether you want the document to be one large PDF file (can be viewed as multiple pages. Perfect for mortgage documents, up to 50 pages!) OR you can split them into individual ones Side. be stored separately in different files configured by you! I gave this product 4 stars, I rarely give 5 stars. I give 4 1/2 stars! It's not quite perfect, but close. I gave it 1/2 stars because the possibility of backing up saved information on a flash drive or other device is possible, but you need to follow a few steps to do it. It's not as easy as other programs. All in all, I highly recommend this product to BUY! If you really want to achieve almost completely paperless work for your home or office, here's one step closer!
