No technical support! the best of business card scanners

I bought this product in January 1921. In July 1921 it did not work properly. I called nobody answered. Left messages several times, no one called back. Wrote several times, no one replied to the mail. don't buy it; because if it breaks, you're on your own.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Expensive

You need to connect 6-8 before you can use it.

A very nice and reliable device that speeds up registration in the doctor's office. The only problem was the time between the first connection and waiting until you can initialize/calibrate it. I would add this to the instructions outside the box.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Damaged

Insurance card scanner

The product scans both sides at the same time, but cannot darken the image. The instructions are semi-helpful, but no matter how hard we try, we can't make the font on the images bolder. The size of the scanner is ideal for a desk in a busy practice. Happy with our purchase.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Not bad

Bought for a busy doctor's office

Item works well, picture is clear. We had some minor setup issues, but we were able to fix them. The downside is that it's not as small as you might think. It's about 6 inches long and bulky. I wish I could pay attention to that before ordering.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Minor things

Didn't work out of the box

Never worked out of the box. Only the top half of the card is scanned, even after multiple calibrations. I then looked closely at the calibration image and it only scanned the top half of it, despite getting a message that the calibration was successful. FYI, as always tried everything to get it working. No phone support, no chat support.

Good product! Best of Scanners

I work for a company that bought 4 of these scanners about 8 years ago. This is the first replacement ever! They are used many, many times every day and more than pay for themselves. They are easy to set up and very easy to integrate with our electronic health record system. We will continue to use the product if another fails!

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Compatibility

Update: Your customer service finally contacted me after several complaints. This time my experience is different. They were very accommodating and I did indeed receive a replacement product. (4 stars just for all the hassle I've been through, plus the replacement is still in the box as I've already bought another scanner.)

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Very expensive

Fantastic little scanner for the doctor's office

We have four now. The front desk of this busy medical clinic is tasked with scanning an insurance card to be used on each patient at every patient visit. Cards are often changed these days for various reasons and when we send an invoice that was declined because the wrong card was used, it takes extra effort and months to recover it. We scan hundreds of cards a day. It was necessary to read all the instructions and create a custom card size to scan so a slight placement offset doesn't cut…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Interchangeable
