💼 Efficiently Streamline Paperwork with NeatDesk Desktop Document Scanner and Digital Filing System for PC and Mac Review

Neatness is all marketing and not much in the category of well designed products. I had this scanner for a while and then it stopped feeding properly so I only had to scan 8 pages at a time then it started choking up part by part. I tried to contact Neat for a replacement part and if it's not out of warranty they won't help you at all. MANY are retiring from their established product. It's awful.) Shame on them for trying to suck more money out of you. Headache.

Have been using this product for several years. generally satisfied until recently. Over time, the company decided to stop supporting desktop applications for MAC or WINDOWS and instead pushed you to use its cloud-based software solution. You can still use the desktop app (older software it says) but there is no support and on 1 MAC and 2 different PCs I keep getting "Neat Has Stopped Working". Bought two of these scanners in December and just installed them in our office. Paper jams when trying to scan documents. The scanner does not feed it properly, resulting in a document jam. Terrible! tried to get support. omg They don't advertise that they only guarantee this product for 30 days! For real. when you pay over $300 for a product. ATTENTION! . . I bought their desktop system on 15th October 2015 and the system WAS great, I scanned about 3 years of receipts and destroyed the originals. It was working just yesterday but today the software has stopped working with its latest update which requires login but won't let me login. NEAT no longer sells the software I bought (no longer supports anything, let alone callbacks). I bought the device in May 2015. My "problem" is described by another user (see below), he has the same problem. I've used it well without their now mandatory "cloud" service.
