I've been using my ViewSonic "VX2768-2KP-MHD 27 inch Frameless WQHD 1440p 144Hz 1ms" for a little over a month. I switched to this monitor from an Asus VG248QE 23in 1920x1080P 144hz 1ms panel which I have owned since January 2015. The picture looks very bright and nice on the default settings, although I'm still trying to find a model-specific setup guide to get the best picture from the monitor. I wonder if I can use the VX2758 setup guide? Compared to my old monitor, I would like to say that the response time is noticeably worse than my previous monitor. However, the old screen looked very washed out in comparison to this one, so they really do trade punches, and you get what you pay for when you only pay $280 for a 27-inch, 144Hz, 1440P screen . I've also heard that the response times on these monitors work. It's at its best when it's actually running at 144 fps, so getting this monitor during a graphics card shortage doesn't help as I don't really have the hardware that can use this screen to its full potential. I know this review might sound pretty bittersweet but nothing against the monitor, compared to others I've seen even $70 more, I'm still very impressed. We're just pushing the limits of LCD technology, so until mass production of computer OLEDs and micro-LEDs, this monitor is going to be really cheap. Truly the most affordable 1440P gaming monitor.
