For some reason my 10 year old son wanted one of these TSA backpacks for school instead of something "more colorful". I didn't know anything about them, so I had no idea which model or brand to choose. It had great reviews and looked slimmer than many - I was a little concerned that despite the positive reviews it might be crap since it was only $20 but I'm SO glad I got it! It's really good quality and it has tons of cool features! The material is nice and thick (and pretty much water resistant), the stitching is fantastic, and the straps feel very strong and can take the beating they take. ready to take. The lock is a simple 3 digit combination with magnetic clasps that the zip tabs snap into and is well made and easy to use. Of course you could just cut open the bag if you really want to get in, but the lock is a simple and effective way to deter pickpockets and petty bullies at school. There's also a large hidden pocket that runs the full width of the back panel, cleverly tucked under the thigh pads. There are also shoulder pads on the back. The bag has many pockets, both inside and out, including a side pocket for a water bottle. Inside there are many dividers, zippered compartments and other places to put all your belongings. There is also a USB cable and an accessory cable already connected to the inside of the charging station, so all you need is a power bank and a USB phone charger. As this model also has an external AUX jack, those of us who still use wired headphones can plug in a headset (or speakers) from the outside of the case and securely store (and potentially charge) our device inside! This feature is great for hiking or when you need to take the train to work or walk/bike. And all for just $20! Absolutely great offer! Definitely one of the best purchases I've made this year!
