This was my first and hopefully only iPad screen replacement but it was pretty easy. When used in conjunction with a few YouTube videos (I recommend watching a few to get an idea of what you're getting into and where those problem areas are hiding. I was able to remove my old digitizer, clean the old glue and set Put the screen back on after about 4 hours.I RECOMMEND buying a frame as this kit doesn't have one.They got a little wrinkled and shifted when the old glass was removed and when I tried to install the new glass the glass started to come off Frame getting in the way of keeping the screen around the camera If I just pressed to get it in place I'd probably break the new glass If you don't replace the bezel I could use the blue tool use to get it I used all the tools from the kit (although my kit only had a screwdriver) except the suction cups The old screen was so cracked that it there was no point in sucking anything out. The new digitizer screen was perfect for the new screen. Cameras te, and the home button fell into place. A piece of glue on the digitizer cable could help prevent it from shifting during assembly. All in all I would definitely recommend this set. The price is very good. The tools held and worked. The screen fits and so far the tape is holding up well although I've always been a big fan of the 3M brand not using it. I'd recommend adding an Xacto knife and a #17 (flat) blade to your tool kit, along with a few pads of medical grade adhesive remover to speed things up. The bezel would be a nice addition to this set, but if you're careful you probably won't need it unless your old edges are crumpled.
