Atune Wireless 5.0 Bluetooth Analog Soundbar for Dolby Digital 2.0 Channel Volume Control Remote Control - I've wanted a soundbar for my bedroom for a long time. This compact 16-inch Atune soundbar seemed like a good choice to me given its small size. The first disappointment came when I opened it up and found that only RCA cables were included. My TV and most newer TVs don't have an RCA audio output. I could use Bluetooth, but I was concerned about audio quality degradation and latency. So I bought an optical cable for it to really get the best sound. The problem is that the best sound from this soundbar is worse than the speakers built into my TV. I tried tweaking the settings a bit to make sure the sound wasn't coming from the soundbar. At first I couldn't even tell that the soundbar was the way out. I turned the volume all the way up and it didn't even get as loud as my TV. I'll say as I get closer, 3-4 feet, I can say the quality is a bit better in terms of range, but from further away that advantage is lost. The board is pretty decent. It's small, but the controls are simple. Sensitivity The buttons are poor, sometimes you have to press them several times for them to respond. I'm not sure if it's a latency issue or a sensitivity issue. There is no extra bass that I hear. So if you're looking for a richer sound, don't look for it here. I also like this product very much. I'm sorry to write this, but I don't want to see others in the same boat. For the quoted price, there are fairly limited options, although it's not far from where some pretty decent soundbars can be found for . So I'd say it's a situation where it's worth investing a little more money into something with better sound quality. Perhaps for people with an older TV, or if your TV's speakers have stopped working, this is an acceptable choice, but I'm hesitant to recommend it for other situations.
