Updated December 2018 First bought 2013

My original review was published in 2014. Here are the collars I have ordered over the years. Yes, I am a regular customer. These are two collars ordered a year apart and the old one is worn daily by my lab mix. Ordered December 19, 2018 (1pc) (FOR my lab mix) ROGZ Large Dog Reflective Collar Adjustable 13" to 22" Orange ROGZOrdered June 5, 2017 December 2018 -- After 18 months of use I have a large orange one Collar bought in my lab mix a replacement. In the attached photos it is easy to compare the old with the new. Whether your collar looks good over time depends on your dog's activity level. (See photos of two orange collars in comparison) My balanced Pyrenees hide it in the fur. My boy gets rough and muddy. He "aged" faster than she. I've never had a problem with the safety latch breaking and not wearing out. Just a little faded. My Great Pyrenees wear it for at least 18 months. All I have are her tags dangling from him and no, I don't use a leash to hook onto him. She wears a harness on the street, the collar is for identification only. (Yes, I agree with others that the only ring on it is for both an ID tag and a leash, which doesn't always work. And I've never had to use a collar to hold my dog. The latch is one Security latch, remember - so it will eventually unlock...) I like the double lock where the collar doesn't immediately disengage when the latch opens. The end has yet to go through the ring and it's a tight fit. So even though it's a "safety collar" with a quick release buckle to prevent choking, it's not that easy to lose. After all this time, the collar stays so bright, does not fade. I washed her in the dishwasher and the color didn't run, even on her coat when wet. This is a good, strong, durable, well made collar and the plastic clasp snaps firmly - still works as good as new. The only thing that worries me is that the ring is so thick that it is difficult to put an ID ring on it. But then it's the same. This identity will not disappear either. The ring still shines with silver, has not faded. I am very satisfied and will just keep buying because I like it when my girl has a wardrobe. - Dan's wife, August 2016 My girlfriend still wears this collar. Washed the dishwasher several times. The tags drool and get a bit dirty, but the collar is holding up great. The silver ring is still bright, not tarnished. Her hair is glued around the ring a bit, but that's not a bad thing. The same loose hair on their belts also occurs. I bought a purple Rogs collar but didn't change it from her old one. Very satisfied. - Dan's wife, December 2019 I still have the orange collar I ordered a year ago in my lab. Washed the dishwasher several times. The collar still looks great and I've added a few more photos to complete the bouquet. I also found some of my Pyrenees girls wearing theirs hidden in furs. Our lab is now three and our feast is seven.
