Worked great for me.

The whine of the alternator on my Kenwood TM-942A was so loud that I could even hear it when I received it. This filter has completely eliminated that. I installed through the cigarette lighter socket, not the recommended method, but the filter worked. It is important that the power cords are short and the electrical connections are strong. WA6EJO.
