my original xbox power adapter died so i decided to try it. I was a little apprehensive when I first opened it up because it had this weird cosmetic issue with the power adapter and I thought that might be a problem as I figured it got lost at some point during shipping. Once plugged in, it didn't affect the work in any way. The only thing I noticed is that the fan is a bit louder than the original Xbox power supply, which doesn't bother me that much. The rest works great.
