Review on 🍚 Asvel 7509 Plastic Rice Container with Clear Pour Spout - 2KG Capacity by Josh Boii

I have lived in Japan for three years and when I saw this container and the brand I realized that this is a quality product as I have bought this brand before , as I live in Japan. I read the reviews and even though others said the container needs to be changed because rice bags in the US are 5lbs and not in Asia, I bought it anyway because it's a good brand and the difference in ounces was negligible. It doesn't matter since I used 2-3 cups of uncooked rice every time I cooked rice. but that was not necessary. When the container was full I closed the lid and added the rest of the rice through the spout and tapped the container on the counter a couple of times and to my surprise it filled completely. 5 pounds is easy to spare with space. I think this c container is great for storing flour, sugar, beans, cereal and more. And I doubt the quality of this brand can be found in a dollar store as there are dollar stores in Japan where most items are $100. Ian and I shop there regularly and they have quality stuff, but to me this brand is more of a mix between our Rubbermaid and Tupperware brands.
