I like it very much, I bought 3! I use them to store rice, homemade breadcrumbs, and coconut flour which I just discovered! The lids form a nice airtight lid, very convenient to use and always where you need them. The size of the blade itself is a bit large, but that's the price you pay for narrow blades, so I actually keep them lying around in my closets or they get too big. If you're looking for something to store your grains/powders/crumbs/seeds/cereals/whatever these boxes are AMAZING.

It works and is worth the cost.

My wife prepares the food for our dog children every evening. A portion of the meal often includes rice. This storage container is great for storing rice in an airtight container as well as measuring the amount of rice to cook. I was surprised it's not bigger than it is, but for home use, a bit of rice is enough. I asked my wife what she thinks of this storage box as she uses it every day. She said it's very convenient and she prefers to simply store minute rice in an open box in a closet or…

Love this product

After purchasing the rice cooker I wanted something to store my rice and when I decided on this one I knew I had made the right choice. It's compact yet durable and the container is marked with useful measurement indicators (cups and kg). This is a Japanese product so most of the labeling is in Japanese or in kilograms (kg) rather than cups/lbs but I think that adds to its charm. The label says it can store 2kg of rice, which is about 4.5lbs, but I found that required a 5lb sack of Calrose rice

Great design and good price

I have lived in Japan for three years and when I saw this container and the brand I realized that this is a quality product as I have bought this brand before , as I live in Japan. I read the reviews and even though others said the container needs to be changed because rice bags in the US are 5lbs and not in Asia, I bought it anyway because it's a good brand and the difference in ounces was negligible. It doesn't matter since I used 2-3 cups of uncooked rice every time I cooked rice. but that…

Ideal product for its purpose

This is one of those products that you don't realize you really need until you buy and use them. I often add rice to the dishes I cook. I was always looking for a cup of "rice" (only 3/4 cup capacity) and then trying to get what I needed out of a plastic bag full of static electricity (why does rice always get static?). Time to hunt down rice grains that have always slipped somewhere between the bag and the rice cooker. No longer! I'll take my storage basket with spout. Unscrew the rice bowl…

Pros
  • Food storage
Cons
  • Waiting too long
